Minister of tourism Bulgaria: The winter season proceeds

"This year a winter season will be longer than , as for us, and for fans winter a sport only plus. Today the season passes successfully. Income grew by 16% in comparison with last year", - the minister of tourism declared on air of BTV Bulgaria Nikolin Angelkov.

It specified that this winter in resorts Bulgaria had generally a rest tourists from neighboring countries – Greece , Turkey and Macedonia , as well as from United Kingdom and Germany . There were tourists and from Russian Federation , but their main stream is expected in the summer, the minister added.

It calmed that the international situation will not affect number of tourists from Russian Federation, having reported about the statement of the head Federal Agency for Tourism Oleg Safonov that Bulgaria remains a preferred destination for the Russian tourists. Concerning other tourist markets, Angelkova reported that Bulgaria becomes more competitive destination and for example, number of the Bulgarian tourists to Greece is almost equal to number of the Greek tourists to Bulgaria.

the Government makes huge efforts for appeal of beaches and purity of sea water. Treatment plants in almost all resorts of the coast are constructed and upgraded, the minister emphasized. She reported that together with the minister of environment Neno Nenov Dimov will check work of these constructions and modernization of the treatment plant on Gold dust .

of Nikolin Angelkov emphasized that care of beaches among the main accents of work of the Ministry of tourism. Laws have to be observed, everyone can come to any beach of the country to which foot access has to be provided, the minister declared. She promised

to continue inspections of beaches, having reported that on a beach the Solar coast – the North 190 illegal objects are already demolished. "We will work also over elimination of trays from resort streets this summer. Everything goods have to be in pavilions, instead of on streets", - the minister explained.
