31 President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba congratulated the President of Nauru Baron Divavesi Vaka on the Independence Day.

"On behalf of the people and the leaders of Abkhazia allow to send you, your colleagues and all people of Nauru a greeting and warm congratulations on the occasion of celebration of 50-year anniversary from the date of Independence.
on January 31, 1968 – important date in the contemporary history Nauru. This day marks the beginning of a new era in state formation, symbolizes aspiration of the people Nauru to creation of independent statehood. The people Abkhazia, well familiar with all tests for ways to achievement of independence, sincerely share with you pleasure of this significant day.
Today Nauru makes a constructive contribution to the solution of topical issues of the regional and international agenda. For rather small period of time between our states the strong bonds of friendship based on feeling of deep mutual respect and trust were created. With satisfaction I note positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation and high level of interaction.
your Excellency, with warmth I remember your visit to Abkhazia in November, 2017. I highly appreciate your personal big contribution to strengthening of the relations of strategic alliance between our states.
