In 2017 Komi Republic increased twice support of regional air transportation

Today civil aviation Russian Federation was 95 years. Sergei Gaplikov chapter Komi Republic, the press service of the head of the region reports.

Civil aviation of the republic develops. In 2017 the volume of passenger traffic of the regional air enterprise grew by 6%. The quantity of routes increased. Planes from Komi Republic fly to Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kotlas, Naryan-Mar, Arkhangelsk, Perm, Tyumen and Ufa. In plans – increase in a route network in the southern direction and fleet expansion.

JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "KOMIAVIATRANS" actively participates in federal programs of support of air carriers. In 2017 subsidies for 180 million rubles for implementation of air transport were attracted with the air enterprise. From republican budgets more than 420 million rubles were allocated for subsidizing of transportations. It is almost twice more, than in previous year.

the Head of the region especially noted a role of sanitary aircraft which comes to the rescue to the people living in the remote district. In November of the 2017th, for the first time for 24 years, fleet of regional air carrier "Komiaviatrans" replenished with the new Mi-8 helicopter. The board is intended for needs of ambulance aircraft, equipped with the medical module. The helicopter is acquired within execution of instructions President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on development sanitary aircraft in regions.

Today in civil aviation of the republic more than three thousand people work. The head of the region thanked pilots, the dispatchers, serving and technicians of civil aviation Komi Republic for professionalism, devotion to business and for a contribution to development the republics.
