The unprecedented ecological project is dated for the 312 anniversary of the oldest botanical garden Russian Federation. To fall of 2018 "The pharmaceutical kitchen garden" becomes the first in Russian Federation a botanical garden and park with own system of collecting rain water.
Director of "A pharmaceutical kitchen garden" Reteyum Aleksey: "PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY ROSBANK and "A pharmaceutical kitchen garden" fruitfully cooperate since 2016. Thanks to partnership in a garden there was a Gortenziyevy promenade and the Shrubby miksborder. For this reason when the project on collecting rain water was born, everything met: approach PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY ROSBANK to support of ecological initiatives, a position of "A pharmaceutical kitchen garden", and also friendly and partnership. It is expected that creation of system of collecting rain water will come to the end to fall of 2018 and by estimation will allow to save to 20% of resources of irrigation water from drinking water supply systems.
World reserves of drinking water are constantly reduced therefore use of rain water is a large-scale contribution to environment protection, care of the mankind future, savings of means and modern ecotechnologies. The system of collecting rain water will allow "A pharmaceutical kitchen garden" to cut down considerably expenses of valuable drinking water - the garden becomes a standard, an example for imitation, and motivates all other gardens, parks, farms on loan of so valuable experience for the sake of improvement of an ecological situation to Russian Federation and the world as a whole".
