Heads of administrations of three city settlements from Republic of Mordovia participated in a forum of the small cities and historical settlements in Kolomna. Vladimir Putin noted that "such cities and villages is, first of all, carriers of historical memory, they carry out the major national task of formation of the Russian consciousness. One of the main directions of work in the small cities is a creation of the comfortable environment for life of people. Last year started the project on development territories. Its realization will proceed, and during 2018-2020 from federal budgets for these purposes will be annually allocated 25 billion rubles. Means will be aimed at development the cultural, tourist, economic capacity of the small cities".

For Krasnoslobodsk work on improvement of domestic territories is especially important. Involvement of people in decision-making according to projects of improvement and their realization became one of priorities. It allows to consider specifics of each municipality.

All participants of a forum share the point of view of the President that it is necessary to make life in historical settlements and the small cities prestigious and even fashionable, after all here clean air, good ecology, there are no traffic jams, but in each city there are historical objects and sights.
