"Let's say no corruptions! ": Romania was captured by antigovernmental protests

federal information portal "SakhaNews". on January 20 to Romania passed the large-scale anti-corruption protests which have followed after resignations of the prime minister of the country, reports website "Deutsche Welle" .

In the capital of the country Bucharest to the streets took near 70 000 the person, including specially arrived people from other regions. Less large demonstrations took place in 20 the cities. Gathered accused the cabinet of weakening of the principles of the constitutional state, reports "Apostrophe" .

People demand to refuse the authorities from plans of mitigation of the anti-corruption legislation. Participants of actions held in hand posters with inscriptions "let's say no "!" corruptions", "We want to live in the justice country, instead of corrupt officials", "Down with thieves and corrupt officials! ".

The parliamentary majority to Romania approved earlier a number of legislative amendments which significantly limit the rights of the president at appointment of prosecutors and the head of Anti-corruption management, and also soften punishments for officials corrupt officials.

At the moment Government of Romania on a temporary basis is headed by the minister of national defense Mihai Fifor . His predecessor Mikhay Tudose retired 15 yanvarya.
