In Kormilovke and Bolsherechye came to the end selection competitions in checkers on account of the XLVIII regional rural sports and cultural "the North Holiday — with Sedelnikovo-2018", the press service Ministry for youth, physical culture and sport Omsk region. 23 teams divided by the territorial principle took part in zone tournaments.
In the southern zone the national teams played Kormilovka district, Kalachinsk district, Azov district, Tavricheskoe district, Omsky district, Sherbakul district, Mariyanovka district, Cherlak district, Russkaya Polyana district and Odesskoe district, in northern – Bolsherechie district, Gorkovskoe district, Tara district, Sargatskoe district, Ust-Ishim district, Kolosovka district, Krutinka district, Nazyvayevsk district, Nizhnyaya Omka district, Tyukalinsk district, Tevriz district, Muromtsevo district and Isilkul district.
asIn each team acted on three persons (2 men and 1 woman) therefore any athlete could make a contribution to a victory of the collective. Tournaments were held on circular system.
as a result the best result in Kormilovke accepted athletes Kormilovka district, Kalachinsk district and Azov district, in Bolsherechye – checkers players Isilkulsky, Gorky and Tarsky. Teams of these areas reached the final of "the North-2018 Holiday" directly.
Got additional chance to be overcome for awards of a regional sports contest collectives Nizhnyaya Omka district and Sherbakul district. They took the fourth places at a zone stage and now in internal dispute will solve who after all will go to the final. Their butt match will take place today in City chess club, the beginning – at 13.00.

On the first holiday in 2012 26 teams took part in tournament. The national team Kormilovka district became the champion of a rural sports contest. Silver medals athletes Kalachinsk district, bronze — checkers players won Azov district. In 2013 for awards 24 collectives fought. Kormilovka district became the winner of a regional sports contest again, areas also got to the three of prize-winners Gorkovskoe district and Kalachinsk district. In 2014 of the best defined 26 teams, and to the three of prize-winners got Kormilovka district, Kalachinsk district and Gorkovskoe district. In the 2015th for a rank of the strongest 24 teams fought, and the best in a result there were Gorkovskoe district, Isilkul district and Kalachinsk district. The permanent winner of tournament — Kormilovka district — became only the fourth. In 2016 for medals 24 teams again fought, and the national teams got to the three of the best Kormilovka district, Gorkovskoe district and Tara district.
At last, last year for medals and points 23 teams battled, and the residents of Gorky who have outstripped kalachinets and kormilovets became champions.
the Main winter rural sports and cultural holiday will passfrom March 1 to March 4, 2018 in Sedelnikovo's village. By long-term tradition organizers of the main rural start of our region are Government of Omsk region represented by the regional Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of affairs of youth, physical culture and sport. Preparation also carry out Regional physical culture and sports complex "Urozhay", regional office of the All-Russian public and state organization "Dosaaf Russia" and Administration of the municipal district Sedelnikovsk of the Omsk region.
the Winter regional sports contest will take placein Sedelnikovo already for the third time. Earlier this district accepted "North Holidays" in 1977 and 2008.
Within present complex tournament planned 11 types of the sports program six of which will pass in advance – high-speed radiotelegraphy (Omsk, on January 27), short track (Tara, on January 27-28), checkers (October, on February 3-4), competitions of sports families (October, on February 3-4), biathlon (Muromtsevo, on February 9-11) and speed skating (Omsk, on February 10).
Other types – hockey, mini-soccer, cross-country skiing, winter poliathlon and cross-country race – will take place within the main holiday. Also obligatory type of the program for all areas is the Sports contest of rural school students which is held on several sports in different settlements.
Besides checkers players selection competitions representatives of mini-soccer and hockey should hold.
