Day of the employee of technological services of criminal and executive system is noted annually on December 21. Its date was approved by the order of the director Federal Penitentiary Service of October 10, 2007 No. 568. This day in 1902 as a part of the Head prison department Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation was formed the 7th office-work knowing the organization of works of exiled katorzhan and the prisoners, become the predecessor of modern technological services of establishments and the bodies executing criminal penalties in the form of imprisonment.
