The agreement between Belarus and the special administrative region Hong Kong China about avoidance of the double taxation came into force, reported Belarusian cable agency "Belta" in Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation in Beijing.
"By results of passing by the Belarusian and Chinese parties of the necessary interstate Agreement procedures between Government of Republic of Belarus and Government Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of People's Republic of China about avoidance of the double taxation and prevention evasion of taxes concerning taxes on the income and the capital came into force since November 30, 2017", - specified in a diplomatic mission.
the Agreement was signed by
Vasilii Matyushevsky with the head of administration of SAR Hong Kong Leung Chun-ying during visit of the Belarusian governmental delegation in January, 2017. The parties defined vectors of developments cooperation in investment, financial, trade and economic and tourist areas.
According to the agreement the rate according to dividends and percent makes 5%, a royalty rate - from 3% to 5%. According to experts, it will create favorable conditions for cooperation in the financial sphere, and also will allow to intensify significantly contacts in the field of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Chinese Hong Kong.
