Port tows of an ice class on crossings to islands of the delta of Northern Dvina completely replaced passenger motor ships. Since November 24, 2017 according to the decision of the captain of seaport Arkhangelsk swimming in the water area of the vessels which do not have ice strengthenings is forbidden. As reported IAA "Portnyyus" in the press service City administration, four tows will work at routes (1 more – in a reserve) companies " Ekotek ".
"Last year company " Ekotek " also worked, the contractor well proved", - specified in administration.
For one flight each tow can transport br to 100 passengers. However the fullness of vessels depends on time of day.

Transportations by towing motor ships opened in four directions: to crossing "Timber mill No. 14 – Maymaksansky forest port"; "the lake of Kego – the city" (Severnaya Dvina Emb., 71, kor.1, moorings of a city ladle); "Solombala – the lake of Habark"; "Timber mill No. 22 – Timber mill No. 23".
Towing transportations are carried out by br under two municipal contracts with JSC <12> Ekotek ". One contract which sum makes more than 32 million rubles, comes to an end in November. The sum under the second contract which passes for the next year, makes about 50 million rubles. On the average daily expenses city budgets on ensuring transportations of the population during the period ledostava about 1 million 360 thousand rubles. Transportations for the population are free.
