For water communication in remote areas Kamchatka territory in the next two years will get seven new units of fleet. At the expense of means four passenger-and-freight self-propelled barges and three hovercrafts are planned to buy regional budgets. "We always supported a sea component, understanding that it for us is also important, as well as aircraft. This year 50 million rubles as advance payments for construction of two self-propelled barges on 40 tons of each and 3 hovercrafts are already allocated. First of all, we proceeded from need to provide with transport service the population in Ust-Kamchatsk for repairs dizelyelektrokhoda "Captain Drabkin". New vessels just also will work at this direction to remove stress connected with transportation of people. After "Captain Drabkin" will return on a channel, we will direct vessels for the solution of problems in other regions of edge", - the head of the region told.

Vladimir Ilyukhin added that two more 20-ton barges are planned to order next year with term them deliveries to the region in 2019.
