Six foreign companies look for rare metals in the territory Kazakhstan

For example, the transnational company "Rio Tinto" for 2015-2017 invested 3,3 billion tenge according to two projects (the general budget on geological exploration of 7 billion tenge). The Australian company "Iluka Rersources" in the current year performed drilling operations to Kostanay Region with use of technologies dry drilling of "Air core" of 9 000 running meters, 300 wells. Object of searches are loose titano-zirconium fields. Two perspective areas in Kostanaysky and North Kazakhstan areas for continuation of detailed investigation are chosen. Since the beginning of realization 700 million tenges" are invested, – Nurzhanov Galym told. The German fund "Ulmus Fund" will finance investigation of copper ores on Besshokinskaya Square to Karaganda Region, the project sum – 600 million tenges. In 2018 it is planned to attract 5 billion tenge of private investments, including projects of Kaztsink LLP, Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, Joint-stock company "Polimetall". For this purpose the authorities concluded cooperation agreements with the Turkish companies "Yıldızlar SSS Holding" and "Lidya Madencilik".
