On November 2 and 3 in Nevyansk passed the IX Regional meeting of school forest areas. Five pupils of station of young naturalists took part in this action and arrived to "The country center Tawatui" in the territory of the Nevyansky forest area. This trip became possible thanks to partner support JSC "Zoloto Severnogo Urala" (the affiliated company Joint-stock company "Polimetall").

under patronage of Small forest academy FEDERAL STATE-FUNDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION FOREIGN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION "UGLTU", TO UGLT URALSKY STATE TIMBER UNIVERSITY, FEDERAL STATE-FUNDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION FOREIGN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION "URALSKY GOSUDARSTVENNY LESOTEKHNICHESKY UNIVERSITY" and Forestry Department of the Sverdlovsk region. Teams participated in it from twelve territories Sverdlovsk region. Our school students could not take prizes in specialized competitions on botany, forestry, phytopathology (science about diseases of plants — an editor's note), but, according to the teacher of station Vladimir Bitter, children gained unique knowledge in the field of wood research.
— Any information was presented very intelligibly and visually, – Vladimir Andreevich speaks. – If it was a question of defeats by stem wreckers, at the stand bark samples with grooves which left bugs were shown. At once it is visible to children, what trace from what wreckers remains. These impressions and knowledge will be certainly useful to them in their research works.
Participation in a meeting of school forest areas in the future gives to children additional points at receipt in profile higher education institutions. Such bonus to knowledge aged from 12 till 17 years is useful to pupils already in the near future.
