of Nearly 100 master handicraftsmen from only Irkutsk Region arrived to Ust-Ilimsk to take part in regional creative laboratory "Creativity. Resource. Development". It will pass – already for the fourth time – from November 2 to November 4 on the basis of school of arts No. 2
I just these days the office of national arts and crafts (ONAC) of school of arts No. 2 will celebrate anniversary. On a habit residents of Ust-Ilimsk continue to call office "school of national crafts" - under such name the commonwealth of masters of a carving and a list on a tree was born 25 years ago. Was born to impart the knowledge, craft secrets to young generation of residents of Ust-Ilimsk to teach them to traditional crafts of our country.
the Birth of school of national crafts dropped out on difficult the 90th when the majority of people thought of a daily bread, instead of of creativity and art. But there were enthusiasts … Then in a left bank at the former House of pioneers the circle of birch bark business worked, directed which national master Zotkin Alexander . Some young architects offered Zotkin Alexander together to create school of national crafts. The idea interested the manager of department of culture City administration Safiulina Tatyana , it supported enthusiasts.
the First building was on Shkolnaya Street, in half of an inhabited cottage. The school was organized and the mayor of Ust-Ilimsk started working in August, 1992, but only in October Dubas Anatoly, then, issued the order on the basis of school of national crafts. So to some extent all this was pure hooliganism, adventure as Safiulina Tatyana spoke then.
- All of us sat in one room, taught children to birch bark business and a list on a tree. Wrote the program of training for children, after all the school is not a circle, there all in a different way. To whom did the idea to teach adults come? The adult! Residents addressed, asked that them took to study. We spoke: "We have no right"! "And you write that I Ivanov Mash and to me there are 10 years" … And here the grandmother of years under 70, on a table – pies which she baked for Social network "Odnoklassniki" sits at a lesson together with children … So under the guise of Ivanov Mash to Sing and Wan at own risk we and taught adults for nearly 10 years! Now, of course, it is already possible to speak about it. And officially we began to teach adults since 2002. Then us already united with school of arts, we became office of national arts and crafts and take such here semi-legal adult pupils could not. Therefore suggested the adults who have addressed to us to collect group. And they quickly collected two groups! One – lists on a tree, another – work on birch bark. Then residents of Ust-Ilimsk began to ask on woodcarving, on varnish painting … As a result at school of crafts there were more and more specializations – as a reply to the request of the residents of Ust-Ilimsk, wishing to study, create, - the head of the national creative association "Masters of Ylym" of school of arts No. 2 Mikheenkova Helena, heading school of national crafts till 2013 remembers.

In 25 years of work the school of crafts let out nearly 2000 people – more than 1000 adult graduates and nearly 1000 children. Many adults mastered some crafts. Today young residents of Ust-Ilimsk can study on preparatory office of ONDPI, and then choose one of several specializations. It is design, woodcarving, a list on a tree, birch bark business. This year in ONDPI the experimental group where children study a molding opened. Further they will study a pottery, ceramics.

Specialization "fine arts" where teach Sidorova Irina and Ilya Sanzhak enjoys popularity. Sushentsev Youri trains adults in rod network, Skachkova Anastasia – to dressmaking, Laylova Olga – to knitting by spokes and a hook. Inconceivable, surprising things are created by residents of Ust-Ilimsk under the direction of Yularzhi Tatyana, conducting the course "author's doll". And the pottery and ceramics of adults are trained by Shaeva Helena. Also citizens can study interior design, it is taught by the professional architect Surovtseva Anna.
- our graduates – our main wealth. We try to maintain interest that that they mastered – did not throw in people, did not lose, - Mikheenkova Helena tells. – Our many graduates who have come to school by children, now work for us as teachers – Zinchenko Natalia, Mikheenkov Eugenie, Shaeva Helena, Sagaydachny Vladimir, our cabinet maker, can make that will not make another. Many reached heights in the profession chosen once. So, Bazaly Maxime works in Moscow, is engaged in the project work connected with restoration. Vinogradova's brothers are engaged in Moscow in restoration and production of extraordinary difficult furniture, restoration of museum funds. They began at us, here, having arrived to Ust-Ilimsk from the settlement Ust-Ilimsk district. To Kuznetsova Alena many know our graduate as the extraordinary artist working with birch bark. Sergeeva Eugenia, studying at us to design, ended MARKHA, became the professional architect. Adults achieve progress also. For example, the doctor Asmanova Olga, having trained on from at Shebodaeva Christina, found itself in painting. It had even a personal exhibition. In a tandem Sergeeva Eugenia and Kamenskikh Artem work. Sergeeva Eugenia came to study a list on a tree. But as preparations were necessary to it, she suggested to learn at school to the husband. Today Kamenskikh Artem - the magnificent carver, the participant of the creative association "Masters of Ylym".
Participation and development
ONDPI Collective (school of national crafts) actively participates in life of the city and Ust-Ilimsk district, on the charitable beginnings give master classes during holding exhibitions, various city actions. On a voluntary basis specialists of office are engaged in the design activity aimed at development of the city. Today they participate in drafts of the "Creation of a Modern Urban Environment" program, teachers of school Shebodaeva Christina, Mikheenkov Eugenie and Mikheenkova Helena entered into the commission, propose the design solutions. Masters of school made out the Ust-Ilimsk temples, did for them furniture – and all this or is free, or for the minimum payment for a material.
Today office national arts and crafts art of school of arts No. 2 – one of 17 basic centers of area on development national crafts. It means that on the basis of ONDPI various training events are held that on target projects the office receives regional financing. The staff of office actively participates in design activity, winning grants on development in Ministry of Culture and Archives of the Irkutsk region. Long ago and fruitfully the deputy is engaged in development of projects. principals of arts No. 2, head of art office of school and ONDPI Kononenko Galina. It is necessary to tell that a push for developments offices for training of adults became a regional grant, this direction of training grew from the Happiness Workshop project. On grant money the school got the car, serious office equipment (according to the Siberia Masterovy program). The surprising court yard of school of arts is too result of implementation of the project which else proceeds. On grant money the bunker in the school yard …
is painted withalso - Helps us and JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "GROUP "ILIM", - Kononenko Galina speaks. – The first strong support was when we went in 2015 to Novosibirsk on the All-Russian exhibition "Uchsib". It is very solid exhibition, educational institutions participate in it from all country, and it was important to us to present our school of crafts, our pupils. But participation in it is too expensive – it is necessary to pay journey, delivery freight, accommodation … JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "GROUP "ILIM" through Charity fund "Ilim-Garant" financed our participation in "Uchsib".
Thanks to "Ylym" our exceptional children within the charitable program of the same name any more get the first year grants. This year we prepared the project of support of family creativity "Skillful hands – to the Siberian birds", and JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "GROUP "ILIM" supported him … Taking an opportunity, I want to thank the director of the Ust-Ilimsk office of Charity fund "Ilim-Garant" Anuchina Maria for serious advisory support.
