these days in Irkutsk in library of a name Molchanova-Sibirsky there takes place a regional photo exhibition "Irkutsk region – 80 years in a family of the people". Exhibition became a result of a big photo contest in which photographers from all over the world took part, and, as appears from the name, is dated for the festive actions devoted to creation Irkutsk region.
For participation in the final of a photo exhibition selected 90 best works of 67 authors. Photographers took part in competition from 32 settlements Irkutsk region, aged from 14 till 79 years. 125 pictorialists sent 1732 works to competition. The pictures taken in Angarski Krai, sent from Israel, Moscow, Ulan-Ude, United Kingdom and United States of America.
Grand Prixa photo exhibition "Irkutsk region – 80 years in a family of the people" were received by the photographer Bogdan Sergei (Angarsk) for work "Breath". Slepnev Boris ("Dialogue with a teapot", Irkutsk), - Vladimir Mikhaylovich Gulyaev ("9 May, Victory Day", Irkutsk), "the Nature of Pribaikalye" – Zhmurova Natalia ("Oblivion. Baushevo's lake", Irkutsk), "The Siberian portrait" – Glushko Igor ("The driver of deer", Ulan-Ude).
the Inhabitant of Irkutsk Ivanov Gennady for work "The Baikal font" won a special prize of Законодательное Собрание ИО. The prize of the Center of culture of indigenous people of Pribaikalye for work "Erdynsky games" awarded the photographer of the Oblastnaya newspaper Golovshchikov Aleksey.
