Why grodnenets kind, and Belarus warm, and also what insects surprised — Keyto Tochiiva's Japanese student shared the impressions about Grodno.

Keyto Tochiiva's

— the timid young Japanese with the Georgian roots. Atypical appearance for Japanese is given out by a voluminous curly hair. Keyto lives to Tokyo. She is the student of faculty of the international relations at university, learns Russian. Sort the girl from the small city of Sudzuoki-si that in translation means "The silent hill". Its hometown on the island of Honshu is known to tourists thanks to the sea.

the Girl reached Grodno almost days. Flight from Tokyo to Moscow took 11 hours, then to Warsaw — three more. From the Polish capital it went to Grodno

"To come, leave, come"

Keyto's

decided to Improve Russian in Grodno at summer school of Russian at university of a name of Janka Kupala. It was advised by the teacher of two reasons: beautiful city and good system of .

— I am interested in the relations Russian Federation and Japan, the Russian culture, old songs, food. The USSR, because my father by a sort from there is interesting to me. It from Georgia. I too lived to Georgia in the early childhood. I think, Russian studying very much will help me with a profession. I had no special expectations. To Japan very few people know about Belarus. It was interesting to me to look at other country which I yet do not know — Keyto speaks.

the Student agrees that Russian very difficult.

— Russian very difficult in grammar if to compare it with English or Japanese. It is a lot of cases, it is a lot of prefixes: "to come, leave, come" (laughs). It is a lot of only! It is not so difficult to understand it, but here to remember and use — more difficultly. It is possible as a hobby, in the future I would start learning and the Belarusian language. I think, Slavic languages are in many respects similar.

People very kind

— I think, people to Belarus the very kind. Somehow I walked on the city late at night and was lost. People around helped me to find the road, showed, where my hostel. I was happy. My friend speaks Russian better, than I, and her was succeeded to agree and understand quickly how to get home. I too know a reference point — "policlinic six" — in Russian says Keyto's last words.

to It it is not really simple to

to communicate to Belarus because not all know English. But the relation of people smoothes a language barrier.

— People to Japan look as if they are very much occupied. Not that they are very occupied, but they move very quickly. As on me, Belarus very warm country (in psychological sense — "VG" comment). To Japan we had to go to shops or any other places to ask the road if we get lost.

Too many bees

In Grodno the girl impressed with

Doughnuts and the downtown.

— It is very beautiful wood near the river. Also I saw old church of the XII century. It very interesting with its icons, big stones. I was in the center many times. Had a rest about dramatic theater, very positive place pleasant for teenagers.

As expectations from new the country at the guest was not, her almost surprised nothing. However, impressed a huge number of bees, atypical for Keyto's native land.

— it is possible because there are a lot of flowers and fruit — the interlocutor assumed.

of Problems with food at the student did not arise. In the Grodno shops it first of all goes to dairy department.

— I have usually dinner in a university dining room or I go to a pizzeria. I very much liked hash browns and pancakes. Also I try to buy a lot of cottage cheese and sour creams. We to Japan have not enough such .

Japanese — not "cold" also eat with

crude fish

Keyto's

told about features of the native land.

— Japanese at first sight can seem "cold", but actually they simply constraining. Only for the first time it can seem closed. At us the food very much differs. For example, we often eat fish crude, we do not prepare. I think, it is interesting part of our kitchen. Many know to Japan only Tokyo, the city from similar buildings. But there are also many small, provincial towns, with the culture, architecture, the local food. For example, my hometown Shizuoka. There very beautifully the Oriental cherry blossoms.
