From three objects brought into operation by Day of the metallurgist, two are connected with reduction of emissions in the atmosphere.

In 2017 declared to Russian Federation on Year of ecology, PAO "MMK" in nature protection activity will make 3,8 billion rubles. In total it is planned to invest in this direction till 2025 about 36 billion rubles.

as a part of the delegation which has visited on July 14 starting objects of MMK, were the deputy head of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource Nizamov Ramil, the head of the department of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource on Ural Federal District Leontyev Boris and the chief of the department Department of the Federal Service of the Natural Resources Supervision of the Chelyabinsk region Kuryatnikov Vitaly. Presence of "nature protection officials" was logical and had not formal, and more likely inspection character.

B 2016 of MMK, the nature Ministry, Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource and Government of Chelyabinsk region concluded the cooperation agreement in ecology area. Carrying out the part of the agreement, PAO "MMK" has to realize a number of ecological projects. Within the agreement reconstruction of seroulavlivayushchy installation in agglomerative shop is complete, gas-purifying installation in electrosteel-smelting shop is put into operation, the system of aspiration of the foundry yard of a blast furnace No. 10 is constructed. In a completion stage - aspiration installation of a blast furnace No. 9.

- At modernization of capacities and construction of new units use the most modern, advanced which allow to minimize impact on environment, - the director general of PAO "MMK" Pawel Shilyaev noted. - The strategic objective of the enterprise - the pure city, and its realization is impossible without introduction of the latest for ensuring ecological .

Krom of aspiration installation of a blast furnace No. 10 and gas-purifying installations of the two-bathing steel-smelting unit, representatives of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource got acquainted with a course of performance of reconstruction of system of reverse water supply.

Implementation of the project will allow to pass

to most closed system of water supply and to lower to a minimum an environmental pressure on the Magnitogorsk reservoir

So, the volume of dumping of water to the water area will be reduced by eleven times. It is planned to create a complex of the technical constructions intended for separation of a pond cooler from ruslovy part of a reservoir. It is necessary to execute construction by the hydromechanized way of an additional dividing dam, the water intake for feed of reverse part by the water, the waste device equipped with locks, and also construction of systems water consumption and engineering communications.

But on it changes in a production chain PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "MMK" do not come to an end. There is a program for an agglomerative cycle, modernization of coke-chemical production. Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource will hold on special implementation of these projects.
