Sweden to Belarus is appointed by the New ambassador Yokhannesson Christina, reported information company "BelaPAN" in the press service of Ministry foreign affairs of Kingdom of Sweden. Yokhannesson Christina will start execution of the duties on September 1.
Before appointment to Minsk it worked within representation Sweden at EU in Brussels.
withYokhannesson Christina worked also in consulate general Sweden in Saint Petersburg and in the Swedish Embassy in Moscow. To Belarus it replaced Martin Oberg which was as the Charge d'Affaires ad interim (since July, 2013), and then the ambassador (since April, 2015). He became the first head of a diplomatic mission accredited after scandal between Minsk and Stockholm in 2012.
