"Kalana live with mothers, will not reach yet 8-month age. Till this time they completely depend on them therefore to survive alone in habitat it has no chances. Now we carry out an inspection on clarification of the reasons and conditions of withdrawal of a Red Book animal from habitat, however now we can already claim that the cub, most likely, would be lost, having remained without mother and livelihood", - the press service of the chief of the department of Federal service on environmental management supervision across Kamchatka territory quotes Lesin Alexander.
It emphasized that now most is particularly acute a question of further placement kalana.
"We requested in Seaside and Izhevsk oceanariums the help in placement of an animal. Its transportation - business rather troublesome. It is necessary to observe water and temperature modes, food and a set of other nuances. In this regard, the most optimum option the Seaside oceanarium as to Izhevsk it is necessary to reach much more long moreover with changes is represented. The kid will undergo a huge stress, there are no guarantees that to it happens nothing on the way", - the chief of the department added.
