the Turkish police arrested in Istanbul Tanzhu Cholak, in the past of the known forward of the national team of Turkey. 53-year-old Cholak is accused of communications with organized crime.
Tanzhu Cholak is one of the strongest forwards in the history of the Turkish soccer. Acting for "Samsunspor", "Galatasaray" and "Fenerbahçe" it hammered 350 balls. Following the results of a season 87/88 Tanzhu received the Gold football boot, as the best goal-scorer of the European championships.
However after end of an outstanding career of the football player Tanzhu Cholak had serious problems with the law. In 1994 he was condemned for five years for smuggling by cars. After release from prison the former forward tried to find himself in policy and participated in several elections as the candidate.
