this year the award founded by GTsSI, handed over for the 12th time. Now ROSIZO is responsible for "Innovation" – the new cultural association headed by Perov Sergei which part of GTsSI was in 2016. At an award the corporate style, structure of advisory council and jury, a condition of the competition and quantity of the nominations changed: this time winners were defined in seven nominations. Except that jury handed over two additional out-of-competition awards – "For a contribution to development of the modern art Russian Federation" which owner there was a conceptual artist Pivovarov Victor, and "For support of the modern art Russian Federation" which awarded founders of the Moscow Center of the modern art "Winery" Sofya and Trotsenko Roman.
In the nomination "Book of year" the winner became Kuzkin Andrey and it "The right for life" – the autobiography including the detailed story from the first person about all actions and performances, carried out by the artist, since 2006.
the Best regional project became the exhibition "Sea of opportunities" , devoted to history of moving of the Perm art gallery. The project started in 2015. For several months the artists involved in it and curators investigated alternative options of development of the future the Galleries connected with its possible moving on other platform. In the history of this gallery there were at least 20 episodes with possible relocation which would lead to radical changes in art life of space.

music won against the nomination "Educational" the project for all" , carried out in Saint Petersburg with participation of blind and visually impaired musicians ". The winner "New generation" became the artist Glushchenko Kirill with the "Shape of Our Everyday Life Is Fine" project. The project was realized in a format of a reporting exhibition of Glushchenkoizdat publishing house – author's research travel on the cities of the former USSR within which Glushchenko Kirill tried to find publishing house "traces" in toponyms and architecture.
"Artist of year" became Tishkov Leonid with the "Look at the House" exhibition performance realized in Nizhny Novgorod "Arsenal". The retrospective project was devoted to research of parallels and crossings between personal and collective memory, between an individual psychological trauma and the Russian folklore.
the Winner in the nomination "Curator of year" became Burenkov Alexander. Its project "Planned Obsolescence" was submitted in the most usual fitness club in the center Moscow within the parallel program V of the Moscow international biennial of young art. In it took part 15 young Russian and foreign artists investigating in the art practicians influence of on formation of consciousness, ideas of a body, beauty and an esthetics.

"the New Space of Theatre of the Nations" became "Project of year" according to jury. The platform opened in the fall of 2016 installations of the largest American artists of Sherry Dobbin "Times Square: absurdity theater" and Bettman Justin "Scenery on the street", devoted to a pablik-art.

The awards ceremony of winners of the award "Innovation-2017", inspired by the card ̆ the star sky and creativity Pivovarov Victor, took place in a format of multimediiny show directed by the director Savelyev Andrey. The projection to a dome of the Moscow planetarium was created by a dizainer Elena ̆ Kitayevoi ̆. As an epigraph to a ceremony the poem Brodsky Joseph "As for stars, they always was heard... ".
