The Russian sambo wrestlers took priority in the Championship Europe on sambo in Minsk

C 19 till May 21 in Minsk (Belarus) there took place the Championship Europe on sambo in which athletes from 31 countries took part. The national team of Russian Federation won first place in an all-team competition in all three disciplines: man's, female and fighting sambo, having won 18 gold, three silver and five bronze medals.

Russians Gladkikh Vladimir (weight category to 57 kg), Vladimir Berezovsky (to 62 kg), Kurzhev Ali (to 82 kg), Polyanskov Mikhail (to 90 kg) and Mikhaylin Vyacheslav (to 100 kg). "Silver" at Kambiev Aslan (over 100 kg), "bronze" at Gukev Ramed (to 68 kg) and Klyukin Aleksey (to 52 kg).

In female competitions gold awards won Bondareva Helena (to 48 kg), Polikarpova Anastasia (to 52 kg), Valova Anastasiya (to 56 kg) and Khomyachkova Anastasia (to 68 kg). Silver prize-winners of Pchelintseva Arina (to 60 kg) and Alekseeva Irina (to 72 kg), bronze – Shcherbakova Anna (to 64 kg), Ambartsumova Dayna (to 80 kg) and Balashova Anna (over 80 kg).

In fighting sambo Russians achieved exclusive result – nine victories from nine. "Gold" Abgaryan Ovanes (to 74 kg), to Aliskerov Ikram (to 82 kg), Aliev Sultan (to 90 kg), Mokhnatkin Mikhail (to 100 kg) and Goltsov Denise (over 100 kg) won Lomanov Vladimir (to 52 kg), Magomedov Kurban (to 57 kg), Salikov Alexander (to 62 kg), Panteleev Pawel (to 68 kg), .
