Kunin Alexander opens "Kommissimyu 2017"

on May 15 within the International festival of the drawn stories " Kommissiya " an exhibition " Art to reflect

in RGBI " opened doors for the guests. The project at the same time is action of Year of ecology to Russian Federation and will last till May 22 in the Blue hall of library.

the Main idea of an exhibition is ability "to read out" information which for years and even was absorbed the whole centuries in it from an ancient thing. Quite often history of the subjects which are storing in archives, the museums or personal collections is hidden from eyes even the owners. What this or that thing throughout all the long life saw? According to curators of an exhibition, ability to answer the matter already is a special type of creativity.

Development of the first belongs to to Akishin Askold , to the representative of LUMP group and the pioneer of the Russian comics in a genre a horror, and to Litichevsky Georgy, to the constant author of comics in "The art magazine". Works of artists are a striking example of a visual narration in style of the drawn stories.

, to Sofia Izrayel, Korchagina Valeria, Perevezentsev Petr and Yakunin Sergei reflect personal mythology of each of artists which is based on real or invented stories.

Kunin Alexander , the director of a festival, told agency:

"At the Kommissiya 2017 festival we decided to afford a number of experiments. And each exposition — is one of them. On today's the key artists-narrativisty who are engaged in the modern art are presented to an exhibition, in my opinion. As to that they have no relation to the comic book, but actively use language of the drawn stories in the art method.

the Only professional artist-komiksist who participated in the project — is Akishin Askold. It was interesting to us to push off these two worlds: the world of comics book and the world of the modern art exhibition which too uses language of the drawn stories.

At opening of an exhibition was many guests. And it is pleasant to me that we found a right way to the viewer. Our project which has been already presented on an opening day, not simply pictures within — is works with which it is possible to interact. For example, at Perevezentsev Petr the press on which any person could make the own comic book was presented and unpack it directly here. And here this space of the book which we could realize in library of arts, in my opinion, reflects our interest to the comic book as to an element of impact on reality".
