B Krasnoyarsk the art museum V. I. Surikov's name took place opening of the Art of the XX Century exhibition from a museum collection. The department of art of the XX-XXI centuries in the museum is the biggest by quantity of exhibits that allows to present works of painting of outstanding domestic masters in all variety.
At an exhibition allocated sections and separate works, characteristic for art of this or that period. These are courageous and dynamic compositions of representatives of the Russian vanguard — Kandinsky, Malevich, Rodchenko. Portraits and the landscapes reflecting creative searches of the Soviet artists of the 1930-50th years — Konchalovsky are presented, to Grabarya. Pictures of painters of new generation of the 1960th, representatives of various art schools of the 1970-90th years. At an exhibition it is possible to see and works of artists Krasnoyarsk territory — Hudonogova, Ryauzov, V.V.'s Sergina.
