Tallinskaya the town council formed the temporary commission on creation of a monument to Voldemar and Elfriede Lenderam. The monument according to the solution of city meeting has to appear to to the 100 anniversary of Estonia .
Voddemar Lender was the first Estonian — the mayor Tallinn and held this post in 1906-1913. Tallinn those years roughly developed, and the main type of building and was called — lenderovskiya. It were rather cheap wooden, generally two-storeyed houses with the small apartments, intended for workers growing, as mushrooms, the industrial enterprises. About one thousand from them remained till today. Especially there are a lot of them in Pelgulinna, Kalamaya , Kelmikyula, Kassisab and some other parts Tallinn which are declared by landscape reserves.
Voldemar's Wife — Elfriede is known for creation of the first private gymnasium for girls which became in general the first school for Estonian girls in the Estlyandsky province.
the Initiator of creation of a monument by it the social democrat Yaak Yuske acted in city meeting. He suggested to establish it or in the Police garden near which there was a Lenderovsky female gymnasium, or in the square Falgi where around there are a lot of houses of lenderovsky type. The commission has to submit the offers no later than December 18, 2017.
