As it is reported, incident happened at night on March 10 when "Helt" going under the Panama flag in the passage Eresunn unexpectedly changed a movement course and took the direction on being in the south from Helsinborga Ryudebekk. the Sudden change of course were noticed by control service behind movement of vessels, officials tried to contact a vessel on a handheld transceiver, but nobody answered. After that the service transmitted an alarm signal of the Coast guard of Sweden which directed two patrol boats to a vessel. At the last minute the vessel nevertheless changed a course, and grounding managed to be avoided. At the time of arrival of patrol boats the vessel continued following towards Helsinborga. The coast guard gave the order to drop an anchor, and her representatives could rise aboard. "When we rose by the captain's bridge, felt a strong smell of alcohol. The captain sat on a sofa. It was obviously drunk, his eyes were red, the person rumpled, and from a mouth smelled as alcohol", - the official of the Coast guard in the official report wrote. Officials forced the captain to blow in alkometr and established at it intoxication in 1,83 per milles. The captain admitted that he drank a vodka bottle, in confirmation of his words on the bridge the empty bottle rolled also. the Coast guard detained the captain and delivered to the coast where him placed to the arestny house Helsiburga. To arrest officials did not consider a vessel necessary as the owner of Vista Shipping Agency quickly organized to the captain replacement. In court the captain repented of the incident and admitted the guilt. According to the prosecutor, for management of a vessel in a state of intoxication he has to serve sentence in the form of several months of imprisonment. The court yet did not pass the decision.
