For participation in track and field athletics competitions the Cup of the governor-2017 will arrive to Volgograd to the press attache of committee of sports Volgograd region Andrey Malyakin. Participation in tournament which starts on January 28, the world champion Kuchina Maria, the Olympic champion Ukhov Yvan, the silver medallist of superiority of a planet Dmitrik Aleksey and the champion already confirmed Europe Shustov Alexander. From the Volgograd athletes in competitions the titled all-rounder Shkurenev Ilya, and also the champion of the youth championship Europe will take part in a triple jump Kosolapova Valentine, the silver prize-winner of continental superiority in the same discipline Malaya Christina and some more athletes.
the Volgograd tournament is included by in a winter series of the Grand Prix Russian Federation (track and field athletics round of VFLA-2017) and becomes the seventh of its ten stages, including final – the championship Russian Federation in Moscow. On the Cup of the governor Volgograd region will be played 12 medal sets. Men will fight in run on 60, 200, 400 and 1500 m, and also high jumps and in length. Women come for start of runnings on 60, 200 and 400 m and will play prizes in hopping disciplines.
