Inspectors of the Food and Veterinary Service (FVS) this week revealed 13 new cases of the African plague of pigs (APP) in population of boars, including for the first time — in the Sea volost of Municipality of Sigulda, reported in PVS.
B Municipality of Sigulda AChS was found earlier by div in Allazhsky and Siguldsky volosts.
Most of all — four — fallen from AChS of a boar this week Municipality of Engure are revealed in the Smardsky volost.
Thus, among boars this year revealed 1093 cases of AChS in 242 volosts of 77 edges and in three cities — Rezekne, Pļaviņas and Jurmala.
Domestic pigs were ill AChS in the Varkavsky and Gulbensky regions.
AChS— very dangerous and easily given viral disease of pigs. In places where the disease is stated, it is necessary to hammer all herd therefore the outbreaks of this illness cause great economic damage to breeders. For people of AChS does not constitute danger.
