Ma Kai met President of the Republic of France Francois Hollande

Paris, 14 November/Xinhua / - China and France on economy and finance at high level the Deputy Prime Minister of State Council of People's Republic of China Ma Kai here met today President of the Republic of France Francois Hollande.

Ma Kai noted that in recent years the chairman China Xi Jinping and Francois Hollande many times successfully exchanged visits and met, having reached extensive consensuses concerning development of the bilateral relations. Ma Kai noted that the main goal of his present visit to France and participations in the Chinese-French dialogue on economy and finance at high level consists in realization of consensuses of leaders of two countries, and also results of the summit of leaders of "Group 20" to Hangzhou, advance of profound development of practical cooperation of two countries in the trade and economic sphere, assistance to an exit of the relations of comprehensive strategic partnership China and France on a new step of development. The Chinese party counts that the French party will continue to have the important impact to induce EU to implementation of the obligations containing in the 15th article of the Protocol on the introduction China in WTO.

Francois Hollande noted that the French party pays much attention to the relations France with China and intends to deepen further together with the Chinese party cooperation in the sphere of energy carriers, trade and fight against terrorism, to open a new era in cooperation of two countries in nuclear power. The French party opposes trade protectionism, it counts that even more Chinese will come to France as tourists.
