C 4 till November 6 to Tolyatti there took place anniversary, 20th run "A marathon in three days". These popular once running competitions left this time inconsistent impressions.
For the first time this run was carried out by
, Zhigulyovsk and other settlements of the Samara province, dreaming to overcome a classical marathon 42 kilometers 195 meters, achieved the dream on it.
Thus, in 2016 in the changed format the November marathon took place already for the 20th time. In separate years it collected to two hundred and more participants of different age and readiness degree. In recent years competition carries the status of the Cup Tolyatti on marathon race. It is carried out by joint efforts of department of corporate actions UKIRP PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "AUTOVAZ", MBUS TsFIS Tolyatti and club of fans of run "Lada".
Weather in November always unstable, at least, every second of three-day marathons to runners was necessary to overcome
where there passed the route of traditional competitions. The organizing committee made the decision to reduce a distance with 42 to 21 kilometers. In the first day, on November 4, in difficult conditions participants ran 6 kilometers. Because of weather anomaly of those record-breaking low quantity – 50 people that is twice less was gathered, than was in 2015.

to athletes were added by the main athlete of the city, the Honoured Master of Sports Gerunov Alexander. The head of Administration office physical culture and sport Mayor's office of the city district of Tolyatti city greeted all on start, and then and itself took part in the first stage, having run a symbolical circle nearly 3 km long. The others mastered a distance of 5,3 kilometers. Every other day runners counted feet already 10,6 kilometers, and on November 6 – 5,3 kilometers. Conditions of coupling with soil on the route were every day different, sometimes from descents it was impossible to run because of ice, rescued run on a track roadside where the friable snowball remained. But participants among whom this time veterans of sports considerably prevailed, courageously sustained everything. As a result of 42 runners finished a semi-marathon completely.

Prize-winners in overall classification became young athletes: men have Mikhail Tayborin, Nuykin Maxime, Tolstykh Sergei, at women - Levina Darya, Kozina Olesya, Samofalova Oksana. The best in 11 age groups were awarded by medals, diplomas, and winners – cups. But there was a problem with distribution of places. In the first day of competitions the chief judge Shashkin Vitaly declared that the participants who have passed a stage, will be in the total protocol below those who passed three distances even if will make up for missing kilometers in the last day. And such some people were taken. Among them there was also a 24-year-old serviceman-contract employee Mikhail Tayborin. The logic prompted what twice to run on 10,6 km heavier, than once the same distance plus two on 5,3 km. And, vnemlya to arrangements, the chief judge changed the decision. Tayborin was declared by the winner, Golubeva Catherina was among prize-winners in female category of 35-44 years, and Kubasov Leonid received a cup for a victory in the most age group of 70 years and is more senior. The decision caused ambiguous estimates in runners. First of all, those who moved one step below took offense.

and about two unpleasant episodes which have also impaired a little impression about an anniversary marathon. The volunteer of run Guryev Vladimir absolutely boorishly treated the director of agency of sports marketing of "SPORTIKO" Agishev Igor, annually writing about a marathon, having applied in its address obscene expressions and disturbing assembled a material for article. He did not allow the journalist to approach to protocol competitions and after heard the fair remark, rushed on that with fists (and received repulse). Considering that Agishev Igor is a federated member of track and field athletics Russian Federation, the editor of the All-Russian newspaper "Veterany Korolevy Sporta", the champion Europe in daily run, the prize-winner of the World veteran games, it has right of access to protocols of any running competitions, and such trick Guryev Vladimir is worthy condemnations.
A the judge of run Khokhlov Anatoly went further away, having accused publicly one of participants that it, allegedly, cut off a distance, having threatened it with disqualification. And it was told the champion of the World veteran games, the tenfold champion Russian Federation among veterans, by the way, come back to sports after a heavy trauma. By the way, Khokhlov Anatoly was the judge on the finish, and could not see in any way as participants run on the forest route. When the return was proved, Khokhlov Anatoly did not apologize at all for the moral damage caused to the runner. Despite old age, and Khokhlov Anatoly, and Guryev Vladimir did not learn to behave in society. Such people need to be held off from mass sporting events. The chief judge of run Shashkin Vitaly took thus an ostrich's position and expressed a wish not to carry out at all further run "A marathon in three days". Yes, the marathon has big financial problems, means hardly suffice on prize attributes, the organizing committee and judges should work, in fact, at enthusiasm. But problems should be solved, instead of to run from them. It would not be desirable that because of fieriness and frank nonsense of one people and spinelessness of others the history of the nice competition which has united on quarter of the century all generations of runners interrupted, reports ASM "SPORTIKO".
