The countries along the Silk way are ready to strengthen cultural dialogue - the Dunkhuansky declaration

on September 22, Lanzhou / BELTA - Xinhua/. The Dunkhuansky declaration is adopted following the results of the International cultural exhibition fair "Silk Way" which was closed in the city Dunhuang Province of Gansu (Northwest China).

In the declaration it is noted by p that the countries along the Silk way are ready to keep cultural diversity, equality and inclusivity, to protect cultural and historical heritage of the different countries and to strengthen cultural dialogue and cooperation at various levels and to promote cooperation in the field of culture.

According to the document, the countries along the Silk way will hold forums of high level, will create the mechanism of intergovernmental cultural dialogue, will define a framework of cultural cooperation. At the same time big efforts will be made for development of informal contacts, expansion of exchanges between experts and the intellectual centers in the field of culture.

the Minister of Culture China Lo Shugan noted that adoption of the declaration marks creation of the new mechanism of cultural exchanges and cooperation between the countries along the Silk way.

the Two-day International cultural exhibition fair "Silk Way" opened on September 20. 95 foreign delegations took part in it from 85 countries, and also 5 international organizations. During an exhibition 89 bargains for total amount of 107,8 billion yuans were concluded.
