Deltamarin, one of large developers of ferries of the class Ro-Pax, prepared the project of the vessel which has been specially intended for the Asian market Asia, govoitsya in the message of companies.

Asian carriers need vessels which would differ availability at the price and profitability in operation, variability for transportation of the most different volumes and types of freights and would meet requirements of safety.

Company developed the DeltaSAFER project meeting these requirements. The modular platform of the project of the passenger-and-freight ferry allows to bring modifications in a design on wishes of the customer for compliance to features of swimming on various routes.

It includes use of plates and profiles of standard thickness, and also the simple details of joints developed in cooperation with one of Asian shipyards. Also the project provides the standard of internal design according to local traditions, a combination of several luxury comfortable numbers and big general berths for passengers with the limited budget. Now already there is a selection of shipbuilders that the final price of a vessel did not raise.

the Design of family of DeltaSAFER ferries includes today three options:

1) Basic DeltaSAFER25 project: deadweight of 9,8 thousand tons, the lowered design speed (16 knots) and 800 passengers. Length dimensional – 188,8 m, width – 30,0 m, a deposit – 6,4 m, deck capacity – 2,5 thousand l. the m

2) the Chinese-Korean option, the DeltaSAFER21 project has higher the speed (20 knots), cargo deck capacity – 2,1 thousand l. m and passenger capacity – 1 thousand people. 3) the DeltaSAFER15 Project is intended to br by br for Southeast Asia: the lowered loading capacity (deadweight of 5,5 thousand tons) but the increased capacity for 2 thousand passengers.

Other modifications, including the high-speed passenger-and-freight ferry, are now in a development stage. Deltamarin offers clients completion of projects according to concrete requirements of customers and a full package of construction services: design, material support and management of the project (EPCM). the Concept of family of DeltaSAFER ferries was submitted to br by br at exhibition SMM 2016, passing in Hamburg (Germany). Company will provide more detailed information on the project at the forthcoming conference on Interferry ferries in Manila (Philippines) in October of this year.
