The president Ecuador Raphael Korrea decided not to propose the candidate on elections

Raphael Korrea was elected the president in 2006, having collected then about 60% of votes, and in 2009, after coming into effect of the new constitution, was re-elected already in the first round for one term. In 2013 he for the third time won presidential election.
