Petraki's monastery in Athenes threw Molotov cocktails, Molotov's so-called cocktails, Government of the Hellenic Republic condemned an act of vandalism.
Approximately into a monastery were thrown at 3.00 by four bottles with "Molotov's cocktails". Fire damaged four cars in an internal court yard of a monastery in which there are offices of the Synod of the Greek orthodox church and an arkhiyepiskopiya, transfers Information company "RIA Novosti" .
Petraki's monastery in Kolonaki's Athenian region is based in the 17th century, however the church in its territory was constructed in the 13-14th centuries. Frescos in a monastery were written in the 18th century.
"Competent authorities already took necessary measures for identification guilty and attraction them to responsibility", – is spoken in the statement of the official representative of Government of the Hellenic Republic Olga Gerovasili.
"Constitutionally guaranteed freedom of worship and free departure of religious practices are strictly protected by the state", – Gerovasili declared, having emphasized about intolerance to any acts of violence.
During the last days there were some attacks on orthodox churches and monasteries to Greece.
