The head of administration of Oktyabrsky district of Saratov Alexander Poimtsev commented on the address of inhabitants of Klochkov Street, dissatisfied filing of trees last night . According to him, the compelled need connected with desire to provide uninterrupted movement of the city tram became the work reason at this particular time.
"Filing of trees on Klochkov Street was carried out in a planned mode. These two trees are in a green zone between the carriageway and tram ways. Because of a strong wind which was yesterday during heavy rain, branches broke and began to disturb a course of movement of trams. And as trams do not go only at night - they have a certain schedule, we could kronirovat trees only in the evening, in coordination with SGET. In the afternoon it would cause essential difficulties of movement of trams, would lead to formation of serious jams. It is an emergency situation. No desire to prevent inhabitants at us, of course, existed", - he told and emphasized that inhabitants of Oktyabrsky district should not be afraid that similar cases will regularly repeat.
