the American corporation Visa Inc. which is the operator of the largest payment system in the world, in the III finkvartal reduced profit by 76% because of large expenses on Visa Europe Ltd acquisition. the Company also announced creation of the program of acquisition of actions for the sum of $5 billion and partnership with large service of payments of PayPal. It is noted that, by agreement of the companies, consumers will be able to transfer money from Venmo and PayPal purses to bank accounts via the Visa card. Such partnership as plan in the company, will allow to increase number of transactions on cash cards.
In April-June net profit of Visa Inc. made only $412 million though last year for the similar period it exceeded $1,7 billion. This indicator includes expenses on Visa Europe purchase of $2,2 billion. Without single factors the profit of the company made $0,69 for each action, as well as last year.
