The judo Far East federal district championship took place in Khabarovsk

In Khabarovsk the judo championship of the Far East federal district came to the end. 108 strongest athletes from seven subjects of the Far East federal district became participants of competitions, reported Open City news agency in the press service of the regional government.

According to the regional ministry of physical culture and sport, an award of the championship were played in 14 weight categories. The victory in a team competition was won by athletes of Khabarovsk territory, having won 22 medals. Ten of them won women: Alla Volkova, Polina Potapenya and Christina Ezhkova took "gold", Ekaterina Bogdan and Sofya Adrova – "silver", and Maria Gavrikova, Elizabeth Vostroknutova and Natalya Teryokhina – "bronze".

12 more medals were won by men. Evgeny Sukhomlinov and Vasily Trofimovich became champions of the Far East. Silver awards were won by Anton Abmayev, Vusal Shukyurov and Pavel Balakshin. Konstantin Bury, Edgar Beniyaminyan, Vladimir Shutikov, Ivan Polyakhov, Denis Lavrinenko, Pyotr Golmakov and Nikolay Vitovtov became bronze prize-winners.

Let's remind that besides medals athletes fought for the right to make a speech at the championship of Russia which will take place on September 8-11 also in the regional capital . The permit to these competitions was received by finalists of all weight categories. Thus, the right to represent the Far East at the All-Russian level was won at once by 10 Khabarovsk athletes. Besides, the national team of edge as owners will be able to declare in addition on one athlete in each weight.
