Birobidzhan, on May 3, EAOMedia. Development of border communications with the People's Republic of China remains to b the main trend of the international cooperation of EAO. This direction remains priority in activity of the authorities and keeps interest at businessmen and tourists from area, reports EAOMedia news agency with reference to data on a condition of the international cooperation and EAO tourism in the first quarter 2016, placed on an official portal of bodies of the state power of area.
Representatives of municipal and executive bodies of the power of area take active part in actions for various questions of development of the international cooperation.
on March 15-18 for further development of cooperation in the investment sphere the delegation of the government of the Jewish autonomous region headed by the governor with official visit visited the cities of Hegan and Harbin the Provinces of Heilongjiang of People's Republic of China.
In February by the invitation of the National government of of Tongjiang the Provinces of Heilongjiang of People's Republic of China the delegation of the Leninsky municipal district of area visited p with official visit of Tongjiang. During visit the working meeting with the secretary of the PDA city committee of Tongjiang during whom questions of bilateral cooperation between border territories and preparation for an anniversary of the twinning relations between Leninsky district and Tongjiang were discussed took place.
In March in administration of the Leninsky municipal district of the Jewish autonomous region the working meeting of the head of Leninsky district with delegation of representatives of business of Tongjiang took place. During a meeting questions of rent of the land plots in the territory of the area and creation of a livestock complex near the village of Nizhneleninskoye were discussed.
In March departure of official delegation of municipality "City of Birobidzhan" headed by the mayor to the twin-city of Niigata (Japan) took place. During visit a number of business meetings of the mayor of Birobidzhan took place: with the mayor Niigata during which the perspective directions in the sphere of economic cooperation and tourism were discussed. During negotiations with the director general of the Japanese enterprise on wood processing considered possibilities of creation in the territory of Birobidzhan of the enterprise for production pellet from wood processing waste. At negotiations in the residence of Consulate general of Japan in Khabarovsk between representatives of the city district and the Consul general of Japan the agreement on rendering assistance in involvement of Japanese tourists for rest in the Jewish autonomous region is reached.
In the sphere of humanitarian cooperation with foreign countries on March 12, 2016 with assistance of Consulate general of the United States of America in Vladivostok and Far Eastern Art Museum in the Museum of Modern Art opening of an exhibition of works of the Russian-American photographer and the ballet critic N. Alovert "My friends fine lines" took place.
In the tourism sphere in the territory of EAO seven tourist companies carry out activity, five of them are authorized to work within implementation of the Russian-Chinese Intergovernmental Agreement on visa-free group trips.
In activity of the tourist companies of area the exit direction and mainly to People's Republic of China generally prevails. In the first quarter 2016 a certain growth of a flow of tourists in the area of a visa-free exchange between Russia and China was observed. So tourist companies of area directed abroad 2745 people that is 3,5 times more in comparison with the similar period of previous year, it is accepted at the same time tourism organizations of area of the Chinese tourists in number of 694 persons that is 3,8 times more, than in the first quarter 2015.

As earlier it was reported, in January the working meeting on questions of development of a sanatorium zone of the settlement Kuldur took place. Terms and specification parameters (town-planning task) on performance of work on development of the Master Plan and Rules of Land Use and Building projects of the resort zone "Kuldur" were specified.
In February in the city hall of Birobidzhan meeting of a round table concerning development of entrance tourism in the territory of the regional center took place. Participants of a round table noted appeal of the city of Birobidzhan to visit it tourists that is caused by existence of various natural recreational resources. It was offered to develop event tourism, and also to consider possibility of the organization of an ecological track in a city recreation park. On the other hand, a number of the problems connected with the organization and implementation of tourist activity, characteristic for many regions of the Far East is noted. Problems of interaction of representatives of tourism organizations of Birobidzhan and Khabarovsk were stated. Result of meeting was the resolution of the mayor in which it is recommended to place emphasis on the Jewish color of the city of Birobidzhan, the Cossacks, cooperation with settlement sanatoria Kuldur, to the tourist companies of area and other interested structures to work the number of questions, the aimed at development internal and entrance tourism to Birobidzhan.
