Progress. Athletes Saint Petersburg last week again caused a stir at official All-Russian and international competitions. Representatives Saint Petersburg achieved good results in bench firing, figure skating, curling and wheelchair dances.

As much, 11 targets, the pupil Ivanov Sergei struck and in final "medal match" in which as the rival of the shooter from the Nevsky coast Belov Aleksey from Moscow acted. And in dramatic opposition the Moscow athlete also beat out 11 targets. And only following the results of firefight a victory with overweight in one target won capital stendovik.

The Paradise team became the world champion

In Budapest the synchronous skating World Cup came to the end.

For the first time in the history the victory was won by a Russian team - the Petersburg "Paradise", gathered for two programs the sum of 212,69 points. "Chess on ice": our couple - the best

Athletes of the Petersburg club "Adamant" Moiseeva Victoria and Dron Petr as a part of the mixed couple representing the national team Russian Federation, became winners of the overall ranking of the international competitions of a season of 2015/2016 Champions Curling Tour - Mixed Double.

The winner of the competitions Champions Curling Tour is determined by total amount of the points gathered by couples at all stages of tournament which passed in the different countries Europe during the period from September of the 2015th to April, 2016

Strong spirit: important victory in Astana

In the capital Kazakhstan to Astana spoke Paralympians at the international rating competitions of International Paralympic committee as Kazakhstan Open - 2016 on wheelchair dances.

Saint Petersburg on so important starts which are carried out under the auspices of International Paralympic committee, was represented by athletes of Dance on Wheels club. Our fellow countrymen adequately made a speech at tournament, having won eight gold and four silver medals, became absolute leaders on number of the won awards.

Among duets in the European program (class 2) the main title won Antonov Sergei and Berdnik Alexander. It is remarkable that to the same couple was not equal and in the Latin American program (duets, a class 2). In the Latin American program (kombi, a class 2) at once two duets from coast of Neva ascended to the podium: champions became Sedakov Maxime - Kukushkina Svetlana, and Osipov Vyacheslav and Ryzhkova Galina took the second place. In discipline freestyle Sedakov Maxime is recognized as the strongest (class 2) among men, and Ryzhkova Galina - among women (class 2). In kombi (class 2) the first steel Osipov Vyacheslav - Ryzhkova Galina, and Sedakov Maxime - Kukushkina Svetlana are awarded a silver medal. And at last, in solo dances (a class 2, the general program) champion regalia in female and man's categories are respectively handed over to Ryzhkova Galina and to Sedakov Maxime. Silver prize-winners became Berdnik Alexander and Antonov Sergei.

12 medals were won by Petersburgers on the international tournament on wheelchair dances in Astana.

212,69 points were gained on the sum of two programs by figure skaters of the Petersburg team on synchronous skating "Paradise" in the World Cup which has taken place in Budapest, and for the first time won a title of the strongest on a planet. In the same season "Paradise" won the final of a series of the Grand Prix.
