In the middle of December "Zurich" rented the 33-year-old football player at sankt-Petersburg "Zenith" until the end of a season. In seven matches of the championship of Switzerland Kerzhakov hammered three balls.
"We already think of formation of team for the next season. Not a secret that we are very happy with Kerzhakov. I hope, too it is pleasant to it both the city, and our club. In the next few days we will discuss with it its future. Certainly, we would like to keep it in team" — Kanepa told.
Kerzhakov, in turn, noted that currently did not discuss with the leadership of "Zurich" possibility of continuation of cooperation. "Nobody talked to me. I spoke about the future many times, I do not see sense to repeat" — he explained.
"Zurich" holds the eighth place in standings, having gathered 28 points in 26 matches. On May 29 "Zurich" will play with "Lugano" in a cup-final of Switzerland.
