Three houses and as much garages are destroyed as a result of a major fire on a dump of old cars and junk in the city of Monkler (State of California). One person got burns and is taken to hospital, reported the official representative of Management of fire-prevention protection of the district Rancho-Kukamonga Kelly Donaldson.
The dump borders on a congestion of buildings of different function. These are houses, the commercial enterprises and the utility rooms closely adjoining to each other. Clubs of a smoke of a burning dump hung about two hours over the city.
Ignition was so strong that to the aid of local firefighters their colleagues from districts Los Angeles were sent, to San Bernardino, Onterio, Chino, Colton, Rialto and Rancho-Kukamongo. In two and a half hours they together managed to extinguish a fire for about 85%, Donaldson specified.
