JSC Koltsovgeologiya (Yessentuki, enters into Rosgeologiya's versatile state holding) successfully finished the researches planned for 2015 on the Shargadyksky ore deposit of the Ergeninsky area and prepares for a field season of 2016. The object is located in the Republic of Kalmykia and the Rostov region. Rosgeologiya has to carry out here estimated works within the state contract calculated on 3 years - from 2014 to 2016
In 2015 by results of drilling and analytical operations the ore deposit for compact leaching with phosphoric, sulphidic and mixed by natural types complex phosphorus - rare-earth and uranium ores was delineated. It is defined that it has a difficult form and is extended in the East - North east direction, distribution of contents of uranium in it rather uniform.
Also engineering and hydrogeological conditions of this deposit were studied, prospects of use of breeds vskryshi for production of expanded clay, a red and silicate brick are estimated. Laboratory researches on sorption from productive solutions of compact leaching of uranium, nickel and cobalt regarding a desorption of these components from saturated pitches and cleaning of impurity are conducted.
Full-scale experiment was prepared, the development shop is constructed, the equipment is mounted. All planned works were performed in full.
This year geologists should delineate the ore bodies corresponding to estimated parameters for compact leaching within the Shargadyksky deposit, to study material structure of natural types of ores and kekov, to pick up modern technology of their working off on the basis of laboratory geotechnological researches. Also the feasibility study on temporary prospecting standards will be prepared, stocks of complex ores on the category C2 for working off by compact leaching are counted.
The final geological report in which will contain, including, recommendations about further geological exploration in this territory will be made.
The project has an important strategic importance as it is directed on completion of the Russian mineral resources of the uranium ores which deficiency can threaten safety of a power system of the country. The subsequent development of this field also can have considerable impact on economic development of the region.
