Russia and China agreed about delivery of seven multi-purpose Ka-32 helicopters

Russia and China concluded some agreements on delivery of seven multi-purpose Ka-32a11vs helicopters and two transport Mi-171E helicopters, declared during the international aerospace salon Singapore Airshow 2016 the deputy general director of Helicopters of Russia holding Alexander Shcherbinin.

"We signed some contracts with China - on seven Ka-32a11vs and two Mi-171E are the upgraded cars with the VK-2500 engine, specially adapted for flights in the Chinese mountain district. We will put two Mi-171 and five Ka-32 in 2016, and two more Ka-32 - in 2017", - he told, without having begun to call the sum of contracts, having referred to observance of a trade secret.

according to Shcherbinin, the service center for service of the Russian multi-purpose Ka-32 helicopters plan to open in China. "At present in China it is operated somewhere our 20 Ka-32 helicopters, now we conduct negotiations with the AVIC International companies and other companies on construction in this country of the service center for repair and servicing of helicopters of this model", - he told, transfers RIA Novosti news agency .

He noted that in this center the Chinese experts will work, however at the initial stage they will be advised by the Russian side.

Shcherbinin added that the contract on creation of the Russian-Chinese heavy helicopter (AHL) is planned to conclude in 2016. "This year we already plan to come for signing of the contract document on creation of the heavy helicopter. In it the Russian side is responsible for creation of part of the main units: the transmission, bearing system and some other accessories is assigned to us", - he told.

He noted that the question of the engine for the new car (earlier a number of representatives of OPK declared that on it will establish PD-14) to these on remains open.

The Ka-32a11vs helicopters are used more than in 30 countries of the world. Experts recognized this helicopter as one of the best fire-prevention helicopters in the world. The European agency on aviation safety (EASA) certified Ka-32A11BC in 2009, and the aviation regulator of Australia - in February, 2013. The helicopter also conforms to the FAR29 and AP-29 standards.
