B of the organizing committee of the European championship on biathlon arrived final demands from national teams on participation in action. To Tyumen there will arrive 27 teams, the press service of the Center of sports preparation of the Tyumen region reports.
the Most solid representation in the championship — on seven men and women — will be had by Russians, Germans, Norwegians and the Austrians. Among participants of the European superiority — winners and prize-winners of the Olympic Games, the World Cups and stages of the Cup of a planet — Svetlana Sleptsova, Michael Resch, Evgeny Garanichev, Daniel Mezotich, Tina Bachmann, Yaroslav Soukup, Alexander Us, Friedrich Pinter, Nidezhda Skardino, Yitka Landova and others.
tothe Application for participation were given also by the national team of Australia. From it on the championship there will arrive 22-year-old Danijel Walker who started being engaged in biathlon 4 years ago.
On the route "Pearls of Siberia" 87 men and 82 women will act. Biathlonists will arrive to Tyumen on February 21, next day they planned training. The open biathlon European championship will take place in "the Pearl of Siberia" from February 24 to February 28.
