Sony Pictures Television sold 80% of the Russian business for Khanumyan Vladimir – newspaper "Kommersant"

Sony Pictures Television sold 80% of the Russian business for the former top manager "Gazprom media" and "Natsionalnaya Media gruppa" to Khanumyan Vladimir, writes newspaper "Kommersant" with reference to the source close to one of the parties. The transaction was closed the other day. The American company operated to Russian Federation Sony Sci-Fi, Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Turbo TV channels. The transaction allowed it to fulfill requirements of the law which limits 20% a share of foreigners in the Russian mass media.
