| the XXIII festival of arts "Christmas days of orthodox culture" opened in Nizhny Novgorod on January 7. About it it is reported on a site of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese. the gathered were addressed by municipal chamber chorus "Nizhny Novgorod" under control of Boris Mokeev and chorus of the Nizhny Novgorod orthodox female spiritual school under the leadership of Tatyana Kostrova. Collectives executed the spiritual chants devoted to Christmas. Also the choreographic ensemble "Happy Childhood", ensemble of the national song "Lyubava", the Nizhny Novgorod Russian national orchestra under the leadership of Victor Kuznetsov became participants of a festival.
