MOSCOW, on December 30. The authorities of China intend to suspend in 2016-2018 delivery of new permissions to coal mining because of excessive environmental pollution, Bloomberg reports.
As were declared earlier this week by the head of Public administration for power industry of the People's Republic of China Nur Bekri, next year the share of coal in power generation will be reduced to 62,6% from the current 64,4%, notes "Interfax" .
In addition, next year in the country will close more than one thousand coal mines. Thus, the capacities extracting about 60 million tons of coal in a year will be taken out of service.
