Helicopters will be applied by strong to use within development and service of shelf and continental projects of "Rosneft".
- Rostekh's Strategic cooperation and "Rosneft" in such important sphere as development of offshore fields is an example of how implementation of large raw projects creates demand for the latest equipment, provides with orders the domestic industrial enterprises, design offices, allows to use the potential of the Russian engineers and scientists, - Rostekh's general director Sergey Chemezov emphasized. – Rostekh is fully capable to satisfy such demand. It is especially important, considering that use of modern domestic equipment at development of fields of hydrocarbons is a guarantee of independence of Russia in this branch on which the situation in all Russian economy, and, finally, national security in many respects depends.
It is planned that the Mi-171 helicopters in passenger option will provide transportation of rotational crews and freights to objects of oil and gas production on land.
- Helicopters in this shape will be released by br in Russia for the first time. Analogs in the domestic market are not present now. The holding creates unique cars according to the characteristics, capable fully to provide the solution of the widest range of tasks on service of shelf projects, – the director general of Helicopters of Russia holding Alexander Mikheyev declared. – It should be noted that each of the Mi-8AMT helicopters will be equipped with the modern onboard radio-electronic equipment.
