In Moscow the declaration of the World forum of Olympians is signed

At the first World forum of Olympians which opened in Moscow on October 21, signed the declaration on support of the Olympic charter, reports TASS. Part in a ceremony signing of the document took the prince of Monaco Albert II , the president of the World association of Olympians Joel Bouzou, Willie Banks, the fivefold Olympic champion Anastasius Davydov , and also Hesham el-Guerruzh, Michel Ford-Erikson and of Kodzi Murofusi .

"We, representatives of Olympians of the world, would like to confirm the current obligations of Olympians of all nations for following to the fundamental principles enshrined in the Olympic charter.

We undertake to extend the Olympic spirit, to work for the benefit of people by means of sports, to help our colleagues Olympians with their course of life, including after completion of sports career by them, to interfere with any political or state intervention in affairs of the sports organizations which could prevent athletes to make a speech at the Olympic Games and other large sports competitions representing the Olympic spirit" — is spoken in the document.

Today discussion of a number of the subjects devoted to the Olympic Movement also will take place. On October 22 there will pass general assembly of a forum.
