Today, on October 8, in the situational center of the Chuvash Republic meeting of board of the Ministry of information policy and mass communications of the Chuvash Republic took place. the Central theme of meeting. the Head of department of introduction of information technologies of the ministry Mikhail Stepanov told p to about Geoportal's modernization of Chuvashia. He noted that works on integration of services of a portal with Geoportal's services of the infrastructure of spatial data (ISD) of the Russian Federation therefore on Geoportala Chuvashia possibilities of search of cartographical data considerably extended are carried out now. The package of measures on Geoportal's integration of Chuvashia with the Portal of open data therefore there was possible a visualization of sets of open data on one card is carried out. As a result of works on Geoportal's integration of Chuvashia with municipal geoinformation system of the city of Novocheboksarsk on Geoportala Chuvashia such layers as "The scheme of placement of advertizing designs" and "The scheme of placement of non-stationary trade objects" are published. At present Geoportal of Chuvashia contains more than 240 thousand objects available to identification, located on more than 100 information layers whereas in previous year there were only 6 thousand objects and 99 information layers. As were emphasized by Mikhail Stepanov, expansion of functionality of elements of Geoportal of Chuvashia and development of IPD proceeds. Actions for increase of efficiency of creation and use of spatial data by the most wide range of consumers, including with use of mobile devices and appendices, to a possibility of connection of stationary workplaces of staff of executive authorities and local government without use of the special software, to creation new and updatings of the existing data sets which are a part of IPD of Chuvashia are planned.
